UPDATE: 2023 NBA All-Star Starters And Reserves Announced

The 2023 NBA All-Star reserves were announced this evening on TNT. 6 of the 14 reserves are first-time All-Star selections! Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jaren Jackson Jr., Domantas Sabonis, Tyrese Haliburton, Jrue Holiday and the Jazz big man Lauri Markkanen will be making their All-Star debut in Utah! Below are the all star reserves.

LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo were named as the captains of the two teams that will take part in the 2023 NBA All-Star Game next month in Salt Lake City, Utah. Home of the Utah Jazz.

This is the sixth year the NBA has used the captain format for the All-Star Game; James has been a captain every time and has never lost, taking a 5-0 record into this year. Antetokounmpo is a captain for the third time, after also earning that right in 2019 and 2020.

The 2023 NBA All-Star reserves will be announced on Feb. 2nd. James and Antetokounmpo will pick their teams shortly before the game in Salt Lake City at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The 2023 NBA All-Star game will air February 19, live from Salt Lake City, 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
